Ag Resource X

Funding, robotics, and soil and water solutions for working farms.

Empowering Agriculture, Enriching Lives.

What we do

We help growers get funded, get robot-powered field labor, and build healthier soil and water.

Grant funding for farmers

We find the grants that fit your operation and help you build a complete, competitive application, from USDA NRCS programs to Western SARE and state specialty-crop and soil-health grants.

We handle the paperwork so you can farm.

Robotics labor as a service

We're a robotics labor contractor. We don't make robots and you don't have to buy them. We partner with leading manufacturers, deploy their machines, and deliver robot-powered weeding, mowing, and field work as a service.

Soil and water solutions

Practical, field-tested practices that build soil and stretch water: biochar and compost, soil testing, cover crops and mulching, and irrigation efficiency, often paired with conservation funding to pay for them.

Grant programs we work with

Federal, regional, and state programs that pay for real work on the farm.

Every application starts with your fields and your plans.
Program Who it's for What it can fund
EQIP USDA NRCS Farmers and ranchers Conservation practices such as soil carbon amendment (biochar, compost), high tunnels, irrigation upgrades
CSP USDA NRCS Established operations Ongoing payments for stewardship
Farmer/Rancher grants Western SARE Producers testing new practices On-farm research with university partners
Professional + Producer Western SARE Ag professionals working with producers Applied research and education
State grants Utah UDAF, California CDFA Growers and producers in each state Specialty-crop, soil-health and climate-resilience projects
SCRI and SBIR USDA SCRI, NIFA SBIR Researchers and small businesses Research and small-business innovation in agricultural automation

Every program has its own rules and deadlines. We check eligibility first, so you only apply where you can win.

How it works

Five steps from first visit to results you can show your funders.

01

Start here

Farm consultation

We walk your operation and learn your crops, soil, water, and labor needs.

02

Find the money

Funding match

We identify the programs you qualify for and the practices or equipment they can pay for.

03

Apply

Application support

We prepare the plan, budget, and paperwork, and coordinate with NRCS field offices, SARE, and university partners.

04

Get to work

Deploy and deliver

We put the practices and robot labor to work in your fields.

Why robot labor

Farm labor is scarce and costly. Robots can weed, mow, and handle repetitive field work around the clock with precision.

Who we serve

  • Specialty crop and vegetable growers
  • Orchards and vineyards
  • Golf courses, HOAs, and commercial landscapes

Our model

No capital purchase required. We bring the machines, the operators, and the support.

Soil and water

Build soil, stretch water, and let conservation funding share the cost.

Build soil

  • Soil carbon amendment: biochar and compost
  • Baseline and follow-up soil testing
  • Cover crops

Save water

  • Mulching and weed suppression
  • Water-efficient irrigation

Many of these practices are eligible for NRCS cost-share.

Who we work with

From beginning farmers to research partners and robot makers.

  • Small and beginning farmers
  • Established growers and ranchers
  • Landscapers, golf courses and HOAs
  • Universities and extension, such as Utah State University Extension partners
  • Robotics manufacturers
